Making A Zip File
What is a .zip file?
ZIP is a common file format that's used to compress one or more files together into a single location. This reduces file size and makes it easier to transport or store. A recipient can “unzip” (extract) a ZIP file after transport and use the file in the original format.
Instructions for Mac computer users:
Put all the files into a single folder.
Right click on the folder and select “Compress”.
It will compress the folder and create a .zip archive file.
Instructions for PC users:
Put all the files into a single folder.
Right click on the folder and select “Send To” and then select in the sub-menu “Compressed (zipped folder)”.
It will compress the folder and create a .zip archive file.
